About Us

In October 1971, Wichita Ford Tractor started its operation on "Tractor Row" in west Wichita by the founders of the Company Paddy and Sylvia McCullough. The original business began with the sale and service of Ford Tractors and Equipment for both the agricultural, light industrial and governmental markets in South Central Kansas. It wasn't long before the second generation, two sons Clayton and Don, became an integral part of the work force and are now actively managing the business. Currently the third generation is an important part of work force bringing the total accumulative active years of the McCullough family to well over 100 years.

There have been many changes in the equipment business since that October day in 1971. The equipment has become more sophisticated and complex. In years past a good employee needed little formal education in order to be effective in the industry. But today's sales, parts and service technicians are constantly updating their expertise, knowledge and skills in order to perform efficiently with the current state of design of products that are prevalent in the industry. It is a constant challenge to keep all personnel ahead of the curve. This is good because today's equipment allows us the opportunity to provide our customers with products that will get the job done on time, whether it be a state of the art design mower or a highly sophisticated piece of agricultural or construction equipment.
